The Sidler Group
The Sidler Business Centre is part of The Sidler Group, a group of individual companies operated by the father-daughter team of John and Meghan Sidler. Other current business operations include Sidler & Company, Professional Corporation, CPAs and Sidler Mortgage Group Inc.
Sidler Business Centre
The Sidler Business Centre building was originally a landmark manufacturing plant that produced Repla windows and doors, so it features 25" ceilings, exposed steel beams made from Algoma steel and windows and skylights which allow for streams of natural light. The nonconventional offices look onto private green belts, have very high ceilings and are open concept to create space for creativity. The tenants include a diverse community from young professionals and start-ups to established companies and experienced entrepreneurs, all of which openly meet and connect in the Business Centre's various common areas, like the cafe and coffee bar (which features cable TV), art gallery and staff kitchen.

Founder John Sidler received his designation as a CA in 1976. He did his articling at McPherson Scott & Company before becoming a partner there from 1972 – 1982. A merge between McPherson Scott and Deloitte Haskin & Sells saw John move into a new partner role at the newly formed practice from 1982 – 1987. In 1987 John and two other partners formed Sidler & Company LLP (now known as S&C Partners LLP). John worked as a managing partner from 1987 – 2007, before he decided to venture into other financial market areas, including consulting, insurance, and mortgages. In 2014 John formed JMS Professional, a new CA practice that is now known as Sidler & Company Professional Corporation, CPAs, and is operated out of the Sidler Business Centre with his daughter Meghan Sidler.
Meghan Sidler began her public practice experience in Toronto in 2007 at Sievert & Sawrantschuk LLP (now known as S & W LLP). She joined John and the other staff in 2012 at JMS Professional as a senior staff accountant. In 2014 she received her CA designation, and she became a partner at Sidler & Company in 2015. Meghan manages the accounting practice daily operations and is continuously expanding the practice.​

Sidler Mortgage Group Inc.

As a licensed mortgage broker, John Sidler began operating a small mortgage broker firm in 2011. Sidler Mortgage Group provides financing for residential and commercial properties, as well as construction financing. With John’s extensive experience in accounting and property development, he is able to provide quick financing for any small or larger mortgage requirements. He continues this day to operate the firm from the Sidler Business Centre.
